Pretty Dress from Tita Kat

When kat, gave this dress to yena last saturday, all Yena had for a reply was a harsh AYAW instead of tenchu. Ayaw is yena's favorite word lately. Sadly. But when kat, went with ghie after a couple of minutes, we tried this dress on and Yena loves it that she even asked me for a little stroll out of the house.

So this sunday, this was Yena's getup.. The pretty dress from Tita Kat and that famed havaianas slippers from Tita Clang.. Thank you so much for the gifts two lovely people of the blogniverse! :)
This was her photo with her grandma 'mamato' before she had her tantrums.
We went to the mall with her cousins on the afternoon, and she had a blast with this lavender ride :)
A pose with the Christmas tree with her cousins and my sister whom she calls mama..
Posing right before shooting the balls.. We had fun at the mall playing at the arcades :)

How about you? How was your weekend?

Where to Find Latika's Dress?

I am a fan. Yes, Slumdog Millionaire who bags almost all the awards at Oscars moved me. I specially love the part when Latika was being taught how to dance, with that very nice Indian dress. So I searched the net and found out that it actually looks like a salwar.

At this very early, my 17 months old daughter loves to wear dress. It is always a struggle to make her wear jeans. Now I guess it’s time to buy her a nice Indian clothes like a salwar, I want her to look like Latika. Forgive me but I really like Latika and the way she dances. Anyway, luckily there is an Online Kids Wear from India that I found in the net and my best choice is this Salwar. I wonder what my child will look like with this one.

Yena Wearing Ninang Liz Gifts

When Yena's godmother, Liz, arrived last month, husband and I went home with a big plastic bag of hand me down clothes for Yena, three pairs of black shoes and shorts for husband and a cute mini bag for me. Mareng Liz and I met for the first time and it was like we've known each other for so long. Blog really moves people! I found a gem in my blogging friend and kumare, Mareng Liz! Mare, thanks so much for the gifts! :)

It is a quest for me to capture her every sunday and show here what does she looks like with those pretty jeans and dress.. :)Here wearing the nice brown pants! :)

And her favorite floral dress which she wore last sunday.

PS: There are more pictures to capture since Yena has lots of clothes to wear from her Ninang Liz.. If i can only let her wear them at once and capture them. But my daughter has worst moods when it comes to dressing. So i have to wait every sunday. Heheh

On Yena's clothes, toys and shoes

I confess we don't usually buy my daughter clothes and shoes. She grows so fast that the dress or shoes we bought a month ago wouldn't fit sooner than we thought. Oh yes, she has less toys, am strict with regards to that. She has to asked them to have them. I wont deprive her of toys but i wanted to hear from her what she wants so aside from educational CDs and toys we bought, all her toys, clothes and shoes are gifts and hand me downs from friends and cousins. I think its the frugal me talking, hahah.

Ok as an example, her blouse here, she got from her godmother. And her shorts, from her daddy last christmas. The shoes from her cousin Eya.
Her little red dress here from her cousin Eya and that cute doll shoes from me! :) I can't resist buying cute pink shoes actually. I got that shoes for only P125!
I was told Nea's cutey pink sandals would be Yena's soon! Those clothes from her cousins Kathy and Nea would be her's soon too :)
When someone would give Yena hand downs clothes and toys we embrace them, we actually love the thought. So when her ninang liz came last monday with lotsa hand downs clothes and shoes it was another treat! She love the dress and kept on saying NO to the jeans. So funny now cause she prefers dress rather than jeans, hahah. I have to post those pretty gifts from her ninang liz soon!

Shopping resembling the Obama style

On inauguration day of the new president of the United States of America, Barack Obama with his wife Michelle greeted the crowds awaiting with supreme fashion i have been anticipating. You see i check on online news every time, not about anything else but their fashion sense.

With great admiration i wonder, who dress the Obamas? Purposely i wanted to know who dress the two lovely girls, Sasha and Malia. It has been hunting me for sometime now so i started digging the internet for the answer. I wanted something similar to their clothes.

Then i find www.shop.com an online shop with best deals of clothes akin to the Obama's. Surprisingly this website offers also free music CD's that you can buy on sale! There are lots of clothings, shoes, bags, electronic gadgets, furnitures, beauty produsts and best gifts of the season that is on FREE SHIPPING! The best deal now is that they are on clearance sale, plus if you join in their cool cart me away shopping game you can bring home the grand prize my husband has been dreaming for sometime now - a very gigantic 50" plasma tv!

Head on now to www.shop.com and see what i'm talking about! :)
