My 1950's name is NAOMI YVONNE. Curious i entered my daughter's name YELENA HAYDEN and got a GLENDA YVONNE. Sounds cute? My daughter's name and mine have something in common. I guess i really have to use YVONNE for my next baby's name.. WEeeeeee! Nice nice. :)

My dear blogging friend Kikamz cutie baby daughter Sam tagged my daughter Yena, so in behalf of her here are our answers. Little Baby Yena is doing the talking here..

8 things I'm looking forward to:
- seeing my mom and dad after work
- seeing my Ninang Liz in person, hopefully this May or June!
- watching my cds at nancy laptop
- my playtime with daddy before i sleep
- my cuddle time, hugs and kisses from mommy when she got home
- daddy's cooking tonight, i eat a lot these days!
- weekends!

8 things I did yesterday:
- went to church with the whole family
- spent time with mommy's family in the morning
- spent time with daddy's family in the afternoon
- took a nice nap with my mommy
- watched daddy play basketball with his friends
- played and run around with my cousins
- ate a lot of soup and rice my daddy cooked and one whole ripe mango
- helped mommy fold our laundry clothes

- stand up and dance at my chair without my parents getting worried
- use my mommy or daddy's cellphone
- call me mommy or daddy anytime when they are at work
- take a bath longer than 5 minutes, i love water
- win over daddy on our play time

Pregnancy and Delivery Story Tag

It is my weekend night of doing tag assignments! Whoa. Love doing tags :) Thanks a lot Clarissa and Mum Gwen for this one!!! Wink Wink

My husband and our one day old baby, Yena.

1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Yes. Yena was actually conceived after two depressions.


2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Not yet. ;)


3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? Super Happy!


4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU? Never in my whole lifetime!


5. HOW OLD WERE YOU? I was 26.


6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? I did a home pregnancy test after two months of missed periods.


7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? My dear friend daryl. The story was, Hubby and i bought the Pregnancy Test home and then i asked hubby to buy me roasted chicken for dinner. Upon closing the door i did the test and when it was positive i run out of the house looking for hubby. I went to Daryl's office thinking he was there, i told her the news and all of her officemates gave a standing ovation! :)


8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? Yes. But even then i knew it's a GIRL. Mother's instincts? :)


9. DUE DATE? The due date was February 8.


10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? Yes. It was tough 1 month only, my third month.


11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Chocolates with almonds and Watermelon shake.


12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? KFC Chicken!


13. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD SEX? Girl. My Yena.

20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? 8 hours. From 12pm to 8pm of january 15, 2008.


21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? I was alone. It was supposed to be a prenatal checkup, my first ever visit to my OB without Hubby.


22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? The nurses? ;) hahah

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? i don't know.

Life is Grand

This time yena should do the talking! :) Photos from last sunday's after mass, Yena's showing her tricks to the family again! :)

I was tagged by my equally cutie and smarty tots baby Sam and my poging 'kinakapatid' baby YL with this life is grand tag that i have to thinkof five grand things i have right now :D Well they are nothing tangible but these for me are the grandest!

1. Life is grand because i have two grannies who take care of me everyday. My mom's mother takes care of me by day and my mamato, my dad's mom look after me at night before my parents come home from work! My grandmothers love me ssso much!2. Life is grand because i have two grandfathers who are most delighted when i show them my newest tricks! They are the most supportive lolos in the whole wide world!

3. Life is grand because i have lots of cousins, aunts and uncles to cheer me up and play with me! I learn new tricks easily by my cousin's constant presence. I am looking forward to more tight bonding with them!
4. Life is grand because i have 30 godparents who loves and adores me very much. Mom and dad were deeply overwhelmed when some of them presented themselves already to be my godparents even when i was still at my mom's tummy! And I have two very loving and caring godparents on the internet whom i am soo looking forward to seeing someday! (Hi Ninang Liz and Ninang Umma!)5. Life is grand because i have a very hardworking parents, who cant resist my charms, who are very proud of my littlest tricks and who are always after my welfare and good future! I know they wanted to be with me everyday, but to make up, they said weekends are just for me! They love me so much and i love them too! :DHere is one very simple rule:

Wish a wish a wish.. 2nd birthday wishes!

Kikamz equally adorable baby, Sam, tagged my dear Yena with this Next Birthday Tag. I know Yena had just finished her birthday celebration, but who says it's this early to wish for her 2nd birthday next year?! :)

On Yena's second birthday, here are my wishes for her..

1. I wish that she will be a very good toddler who knows when to say - yes please and no thank you - all the time.
2. I wish for longer life for her grandparents.
3. I wish also for good health for everybody in the family.
4. I wish for a vacation in aklan, iloilo or negros just so relatives can get to meet the young yena.
5. I wish that she can hum or sing a song already, and that she can already join me and her dad and the rest of the choir on our 9am mass service.
6. I wish that my parents can spend their time with yena on her 2nd birthday.
7. I'm wishing for educational toys as her birthday gift, and also that portable dvd i've been eyeing sometime ago, this time for her dora, spongebob and barney's cd- - her movie time!
8. I wish that she receive lots of books too for our bedtime story telling time.
9. I wish that on her 2nd birthday, the day would be a treat not only for her cousins but also for the neighborhood kids, this time lots of loot bags for everybody. ;)
10. Am wishing and praying for our own house, hoping that on her 2nd birthday we have our own space already. :D

Wish List for Baby Number 2

Was tagged by Bonnie, thanks dear! It seems so wishful, but since i am that wishful thinker i am going to list here all my wish list before the baby number 2 arrives! Although that is a little 3 years time to go! :D

1. Own HOME

Like Bonnie, i would like to have my own house this time. That would mean my own space, me and my family learning to live on our own.. this mean also that i will be a housewife- oh my! greatest wish! :)

2. Baby Crib

Would you believe that Yena has no crib? I think it is a must have, but since we lack space in my inlaws home we ignore buying one. Yena's crib is our bed with lots of pillows around it. :) Good thing though that my sister had her cribs at our home, so when yena is with my mother's she has a little space of her own!

3. Stroller

We are using a hand down stroller from my sister in law, it looks quiet brand new since it was only bought a year ago. the stroller's color is blue since the real owner is a boy, am not complaining but am wishing a pink and brown stroller for yena. but since it's a pass on, what can i do? use it as carefull as we could and save it for the next baby in the family.

I could go without the other baby stuffs. I would like to have the essential ones for the baby.. there are far more important than what money can buy, what i want is that i am with her all through out her baby days!
