in love with dogs!

Aside from being so fond of cats and chickens, yena love dogs so much! The instant she saw this cute little dog at tagaytay she rocked her body and swayed daddy to let her near 'sunday' (i heard the owner call her sunday, i presume she is a she. heheh)

Initial reaction was so contagious, she kept on laughing as if talking to sunday. She was walking nearer as if wanting to touch her.. Wanting to play with her. I was so careful on keeping the distance, afraid that the dog might bite. Good thing sunday was a well mannered dog and she doesnt bite the ownder said.

Hubby and i have been dreaming of owning a dog like sunday someday for Yena. I love how she interacts with pets. Maybe when she is old enough to pick up and take care of dog, we will let her have one.

Yena with hubby's youngest brother Maki, smiled back at me when she saw me holding my phone. She knew by then i will be taking picture of her!

And yes, she was so happy! That was one of her many happy faces i am glad i captured right away! Love it.

Walking on Sunshine

I knew that it would be a tiring day at tagaytay last sunday- and i was so right. until now my bones are aching and i feel so worn out. but i guess being tired is out of yena's system..

there is a long trek at tagaytay picnic grove, i thought we would be walking there carrying the little girl - but i was wrong!


all the way down the trail she was so eager to walk- she was smiling, laughing and giggling to the beat of her shoes.. she didnt seeem tired at all!


when she and her dad reach me down one angle, she showed her spongebob smile and posed so proudly..


and would you believe that she cried when i tried to carry her. daddy let her had her way and so the poor daddy was complaining of his backpain until now.. ;)

Happy weekend!

As my tenth month gift, Daddy let me ride on my cousin's big truck..

I had fun! For a second daddy left me alone for the picture taking that left mommy nervous. Mommy thought i might fall but I didn't! I'm a big girl now..

I think i know how to drive a truck, this little one will do for the moment! :D

ten months and proud

ten months tomorrow, and it feels like yesterday when i had her in my hand seemed glued.. in our bed stock-still. ten months after, she preferred to be standing up all the time, though still needs some support from her cousin patchik (pictured behind her!)

so full of pride to standing up like that!! hahah

Wish List for Baby Number 2

Was tagged by Bonnie, thanks dear! It seems so wishful, but since i am that wishful thinker i am going to list here all my wish list before the baby number 2 arrives! Although that is a little 3 years time to go! :D

1. Own HOME

Like Bonnie, i would like to have my own house this time. That would mean my own space, me and my family learning to live on our own.. this mean also that i will be a housewife- oh my! greatest wish! :)

2. Baby Crib

Would you believe that Yena has no crib? I think it is a must have, but since we lack space in my inlaws home we ignore buying one. Yena's crib is our bed with lots of pillows around it. :) Good thing though that my sister had her cribs at our home, so when yena is with my mother's she has a little space of her own!

3. Stroller

We are using a hand down stroller from my sister in law, it looks quiet brand new since it was only bought a year ago. the stroller's color is blue since the real owner is a boy, am not complaining but am wishing a pink and brown stroller for yena. but since it's a pass on, what can i do? use it as carefull as we could and save it for the next baby in the family.

I could go without the other baby stuffs. I would like to have the essential ones for the baby.. there are far more important than what money can buy, what i want is that i am with her all through out her baby days!

Am Pouting

At 8 months, she started to learn the close open while making faces. At 9 months she claps her hands when happy.. holds her bottle when hungry and sway her hands up and down everytime she hears the song of barney.

Turning 10 months on saturday, she masters her new trick of pouting her lips when asked AND she already knows that when i say UP HERE with my right hand up, she has to press her right hand unto mine. APIR! wink

She and hubby have a special trick for each other too. when hubby puts her tongue out, she will do just the same, and a bonus of her sweetest smile after! heartmelting it is! :)

Glad i captured her pouting last night, just after i fetch her from my mother's house.

Overjoyed

Weekends are our family bonding time. I don't know but Yena has a certain glow during weekends that everytime i took her pictures she poses like a grown up already. I have to admit that i am so into saturdays and sundays also, but i noticed that she is more agitated to it!

Toy Hunt - Stuffed Toy

chubby is a gift on our company kris kringle last year.

i told my husband not to buy other teddy toys or stuffed toys, i want chubby to be yena's only 'teddy' toy until she is big enough to ask for a real doll. i want her to be loyal to chubby. when she is pussy and having tantrums, i just asked her to look for chubby and give her a big hug or wetty kiss.. when she was sick, chubby has been a great playmate.. at this early, i am really awed on how she behaves everytime i told her about chubby.

on yena's 5th month, and for the first time i let her play with chubby. and they clicked! see how she took hold of her and never letting her go- even in her dreams! :D
