Mommy Moments - Doctor Doctor Am i Sick?
These are the photos when our daughter Yena was hospitalized last Sept 28, 2008. She has unusual rashes all over her body. We thought it was Dengue so we rushed to the ER of De La Salle. Since her pedia wasn't available we were told that she need to be admitted and wait for next day.
She was all smiles at the ER. She cries when sick and wants to be always carried by her daddy but she is still the happy baby that she is..
And then for the next few hours, she wailed loudly while the nurses were trying to put her an IV/dextrose. Husband and i couldn't stand it anymore so we talked to the doctor in charge if we can spare her the pain of that IV, he told us to sign the waiver, and i did!
Yena was diagnosed with Viral Exanthem but it was not that serious her pedia said. We went out of the hospital after 3 days.

if we could do anything, we wanted to spare our child from pain, illness...it hurts to see them crying and suffering..glad to know she's really fine...
Kahit may sakit si baby, ang cute pa rin ng smile nya anoh?...
grabe no.. tayo ung natatakot. super katakot talaga pag babies ang may sakit. naku naku.. hehe. all smiles pa rin si baby kse anjan kayo. ^^
i admire yena for her courage in the face of illness. she never gave in to her illnesses and didn't show any signs of weakness. kahit maysakit, smile pa rin! way to go little yena. am glad that all ur illnesses are not that serious.
at sino ba namang nanay ang di matatakot pag me sakit baby nya di ba?
God bless yena and you always anikniks! have a happy weekend!
It is hard seeing our kids sick. We want to help ease the pain, but we couldn't...and that's the hard part...am glad Yena is courageous enough that she even managed to simile :-). That was amazing!
Hoping our kids will never suffer from sickness again or if in case, would be minor illnesses.
Kahit na may sakit si Yena, all smile pa rin cya ha!ang hirap talaga ng batang may sakit di bah, mahirap pati sa dibdib pag nakikita natin silang naghihirap.Glad to know that she's fine now.^_^
Seeing the tears in her eyes really broke my heart. It is always so sad to see children going through such pain.
awwww, it reminds me of the first time EJ was hospitalized. He got an allergic reaction from peanut and her skin swelled up... But even though he was in agony, he was still lauhing out loud while we tried to play with him...
Hirap pag nagkakasakit mga anak noh? Happy weekend mare!
It's really hard for us to see our kids suffering. I'd rather be sick than my kids. Mahirap kasi pag may sakit sila, the small ones get so clingy.
am glad it was not that serious c:
when my son was hospitalized halos naiyak ako nung nilagyan sya ng dextrose kasi nahirapan sila hanapin yung vein nya :c kya I requested someone who is more na makakatulong ng maayos kasi crusial din yan diba .
wawa Yena...buti na lang she was able to get through it all. Thanks to Mom and Dad.
