Aftermath of Saturday Jog

My whole body is sore right now. Husband and I jog around the neighborhood last Saturday with the aim of getting rid of the stocked up fats in our tummy. After months of not exercising, i hesitantly woke up early and tried to be a health buff once again. Well seriously, I love jogging with husband early weekends. We bond and we play a bit, and I love it.

But anyways, In our place, jogging around in the mornings seems alien. People were looking at us – or do we look like alien to them? Anyways, since husband is a fitness buff I guess he would like to try out the Tunturi elliptical that I saw in the net a while ago. And I would stop jogging/walking when I got hold of the Tunturi exercise bike – I will go biking instead of jogging. I am kind of excited with the thought. With that bike, it’s husband’s turn to run after me.

So while my body is sore, I am in front of the internet whole day today. I have been spending endless hours browsing about everything that catches my attention, from Men’s Health, women’s fashion, latest gossips and baby products etc. My body is quiet sore but my eyes aren’t! So I shall upload our jogging pictures later!

With earthquake happening one after another, there’s quiet a number of people looking for home insurance now. But there are a lot of things to consider when getting insurance from the insurance companies available in the market now.

First, you need to know the company background. Some are experiencing downturn in the industry already and you won’t want to invest your hard earned money to go to waste in the future. But there are a lot of home insurance now that is going uphill climb therefore its best to invest with them. New York home insurance is one of the best examples of an insurance company that is getting better as the years go by. But there is home insurance in Texas that is getting good good numbers of investors too. They are making it big in insurance business.

Baby Shower Gift Ideas

Imagine that your wife is pregnant with your second child and you’re planning on throwing her a baby shower because at the first one she received some great gifts like a couple Lovies, a bunch of bibs and even some of those cool trumpette socks, among other things. So you think it would be cool toyou’re your second child the same jump start on necessities that your first child got.

Tubbies, lovies, burp cloths, bibs, blankets and boppy pillows are all things that new babies need to feel comfortable. So are pacifiers and sippy cups. Toys and necessities are great, but everyone seems to give the same thing.

The key is to get creative, fashion baby wash cloths or burp cloths into flowers. Rolling the burp cloth lengthwise, somewhat loosely, will create the look of a rose or flower. Folding the very last corner of the rolled burp cloth end back a little will create a rose petal shape. Making a fold in the middle of the rolled burp cloth makes two flowers. Holding two floral wires against the flowers, floral tape is wrapped around each flower and across the "U" shape of the rolled burp cloth to join the flowers together at the base. This will secure the flowers and floral wire.
Then you can utilize a pair of baby socks to create roses by tightly rolling the socks from the toe. Once you have reached the end of the sock, fold the opening back on itself to create the outer petal of the rosebud. Take care not to cause any damage in this next step, as you insert a piece of floral wire is into the center of the baby sock. Finally, wrap the bottom of the baby sock rosebud with green sticky floral tape to hold the rosebud and wire in place.

Don’t just limit yourself to burp cloths. You can use onesies, baby hats, old t-shirts or almost anything made of cloth. Homemade creations can make wonderful baby shower gifts.

Blogging Updates

Since I have my internet connection at home already I am getting myself so stressed with blogging. I have two new domain blogs to tweak then and there so my night time on weekdays mean – dinner at 10pm, play time with Yena and blog time from 1030 onwards. I feel guilty coz night time is the only moment I can play with Yena so I can only blog after I put her to sleep.

Luckily, yena is a very easy baby; I mean she is a busy toddler now. Most especially now that she has her Laplap. When she’s tired on our reading and playing time, she would ask for her laplap and her CDs –by then I can blog without guilt. I blog and she watches her CDs – such a relief. And when she gets tired of her CDs would cling to me and would ask that we play Zombies (Plants vs Zombies). That’s our usual weeknights. For weekends, I am a whole day slave and can only blog when am done with the house chores or when yena is having her nap. So weekends are still restless, lol.

Anyways, speaking of my blogging life you might have read it on my other domain blogs already that I have plans of transferring to wordpress and my dilemma on what webhosting to use. I have blogging friends that would help me with the transfers and the purchasing of web hosting and all those stuffs but am still hesitant. I just can’t leave blogger just like that. Blogger is my first love. So I guess my 3 blogspot blogs will remain untouched. It will be with blogger for so long as it lives. And all my domain blogs will be transferred to wordpress when I am finally ready to let go and embrace a new level in my blogging life. ^_^

Yena flew so early!

Yena broke me and husband's record on flying in an airplane. Imagine, husband and I flew on an airplane for the first time at the age of 27 while my daughter at 21 months old! That was when we had our getaway at Coron Palawan last year. So when she sees a plane now she recalls flying. And she wants to travel again.

Is that a sign that she will work on an airline company and will travel a lot when she grows old? I wish she will tag husband and I along. Anyways, because Yena loves to travel I need to have some Travelocity promo code on hand. I don’t know where our next trip will be but with Savings Travel coupons I will be on track of my travel budget. Traveling doesn’t come cheap these days. And my target if ever we will go out of the country soon is none other than Las Vegas. Will schedule it on Manny Pacquiao’s next fight maybe. Husband and Yena are big fans of boxing so that would be cool! So what shall I do to get a cheaper flight to Las Vegas? Start looking for Las Vegas coupons early on!

Yena’s current Tune

I am a proud mother. My daughter sings two songs of praise – glory to god and alleluia. Note: on alto tune. I want her to be a choir member someday, or join me and her daddy on our choir. Luckily, I can see it happening soon. Every weekend, husband plays his guitar while Yena is singing with him. Pure music to the soul and I am loving it.

Now we can bond through music. I wonder if I can persuade her to join me in blogging or browse through the T-shirt Guy blog, she hates it when I am in front of my laptop. But with the way she arranges our laundry basket nightly, I can sense she has some organizing style. So creating some custom t shirt in the near future will be easy as a pie. What with her love for food? I know she will do big on Food t-shirts business.

She got some good tune and is into organizing at this early so a little persuading and encouragement will make her what she will be best in her life. And I heard her singing bad romance last night, I don’t know what to react when she becomes the next Lady Gaga, oh my. But if that’s what her heart sings how can I say no?
