Mommy Moments - Playing Time

mommy moments
Now is my share on Mommy Moments Playing Time. Below is the picture of Yena with her daddy's basketball balls. She played with them after posing. She calls out BALL whenever she sees them :)
Her improvised car is our flat iron's box :) She was riding on it with her stuff toy Yona. :)
She loves to play with her cousin at Jollibee's play area.. Here's her picture at the slide..
And her favorite part is walking back and forth on this circle maze :)
She played with our canned goods at home, and she had a great time!
I admit, we don't buy her much toys at this early, almost all her toys were gifts! i want her to play make-believe (which she always does!) but soon when she knows how to ask for them i know i will give in! :)
Please join us at Mommy Moments! It is always FUN! :)

Kid’s Fear of Clowns

I noticed that for the birthday parties we had attended with my nieces and nephews, I heard loud cries and wails rather than laughter when the clowns started their show. I know, kids find it weird to see a man with a lot of makeup on. Clowns look like monster to them, it isn’t funny at all.I remember when Yena and I attended my friend’s son’s first birthday, yena kept on fidgeting and tugging my shirt down all the while since the clown turn up. I knew then she is afraid of a clown but I kept on telling her that the clown is also human – it’s just a man. I guess she understood coz after explaining and whispering to her that the clown won’t harm she looked relieved and smiled.

Some called this fear of anything or being a coward as quakebuttock. But I won’t apply it to kids who has fear of clowns. I might call someone quakebuttock when they are old enough to know what’s the difference between reality and tales. Forty years old and afraid of clowns? I might call her/him quakebuttock. But then again that’s just me.

Happy 18 Months my Baby!

Left her still sleeping this morning at home. She still was coughing last night while sleeping but has no fever anymore, thank God. She still is the jolly toddler that she is, jumping after she saw me and her daddy arrived from work. Smiling and laughing - the way she always does when she wants her daddy tickle her. She still is very active even when sick, but after days of being sick she is getting slimmer now, i hope she gets back into her old shape - well round and a big tummy!

I can't wait to go home tonight to see her. I just miss her all the time.

Happy 18 months my Baby!

You will always be loved.
I love you so much!

I love riding a tricyle!

Doesn't she looked so happy riding a tricycle?

Where to Find Latika's Dress?

I am a fan. Yes, Slumdog Millionaire who bags almost all the awards at Oscars moved me. I specially love the part when Latika was being taught how to dance, with that very nice Indian dress. So I searched the net and found out that it actually looks like a salwar.

At this very early, my 17 months old daughter loves to wear dress. It is always a struggle to make her wear jeans. Now I guess it’s time to buy her a nice Indian clothes like a salwar, I want her to look like Latika. Forgive me but I really like Latika and the way she dances. Anyway, luckily there is an Online Kids Wear from India that I found in the net and my best choice is this Salwar. I wonder what my child will look like with this one.

Mommy Moments - Encounter with Pets

mommy moments
Yena smiles back and would gladly be carried by anyone out of the house when you tell her the magic words. Let's go see the fish? The dog? chicken? She is really excited when she's around pets, she points at them, tease them and enjoys them.. She even imitates the sound of this pets with her little tiny voice!

Here's the two pictures am glad i capture during our trip to Tagaytay last year. Look how she adores this cute dog!
I have plans of having dogs, birds and fishes at home. For now we have koi fishes which yena adores. When she knows how to take care of a dog we will get her one. The birds i have to save for them and will buy it sooon! :)
If you're one proud mom.. Join us every friday at Mommy Moments. Its fun! :)
